Sedgley Park Rugby Club
Home of The Whitefield Festival & Sedgley Park Rugby Club ( The Tigers )
Sedgley Park is a district of Prestwich approximately two miles north of Manchester city centre. In 1932 at a public meeting in a temperance bar, the club began. The very first ground was a farmer's field in Whitefield, and the club has never been based in Sedgley Park. despite primitive conditions - cowshed for changing, farmyard pump for washing - the new club thrived.

Now in its seventh year - what started with a small music festival with the aim of fundraising some money for a local charity the festival has grown year on year combining tasty local food, craft beers, pim's & prosecco, craft stalls and of course sweet treats of cakes & ice cream ! With a whole range of activities for the whole family to enjoy on a summers weekend.
